I want to make sure you know, this design is meant to be personal enough for friends and family, but professional enough for any employer to navigate and get a feel for who I am and my style of writing. I'm not a web developer, but I do enjoy writing. It is challenging, frustrating, and impossible to master.

I noticed while writing my “Why I Write,” paper, that the question of why became very hard for me to define. I started to consider every aspect of why, down to my genetics, the way I grew up, the personal issues in my life, my interest in other forms of art, my introverted personality… and even then I felt dissatisfied with the answer.

I came to realize, my struggle defining why I write must have something to do with why I choose to do it. I have always had anxiety throughout my life, which meant I've had a tough time making decisions, dealing with stress, managing a social life, and ultimately finding peace of mind. Writing helps me to organize my thoughts and express my emotions, and I know that has a lot to do with my desire to pursue it. Here's the link to that paper:

You will find many more links to academic papers and other creative works I have made via buttons like the one above throughout the site. Also, each tab in the header is organized generally into different styles of writing. Feel free to navigate through all of them and see how the writing style changes depending on the audience and purpose. I hope to continually expand my ability to write in different styles and to never lose the ability to enjoy it. I hope you have fun exploring my E-portfolio.
